History
Del, the president, got his start in the plumbing and heating business back in 1956. He worked through apprentice training and worked in various shops until he decided to hang out his shingle in 1972. The business consisted of one truck and was run out of his garage. Fran, his wife, did the bookkeeping.
The business soon overflowed the garage and he had to build a shop and the garage was the office. More men were hired along with his son Steve. Soon he added on to the shop and added an office. When the corporation was formed, his three sons became officers.
The possibility of adding to the shop again seems eminent. His residence is still next to the shop. Together, the total combined years of experience of their people is 240 years. The longevity of the company is a direct result from the good service to their customers. Bramm's has a long list of return customers and also continues to welcome new customers on a regular basis.
Del and the rest of the crew at Bramm's Plumbing, Heating, and A/C are proud of the fact that most all of their business is from the immediate area of Rhinelander, doing service as neighbors. They will venture to a 25-mile radius of Rhinelander.
What has really helped the business grow over the years and separate them from the competition is their quality service and friendly atmosphere.
